Rules for fishing the Moores Pond Coarse Beat

​

·Every angler is responsible for your own safety and must has your own insurance

​

·Barbless hooks only

​

·No keep nets

​

·Catch and release only

​

·All catches to be reported in the WhatsApp group

​

·Fishing will be allowed during traditional river seasons until further notice

​

·Maximum two people fishing the river and two on the pond at anyone one time.

​

·One car only to be parked at a time if parking by footpath exit to dockenfield lane. (recommend a cone at the front and back of vehicle as you are parked on the road)

​

·Cars left either hotel/bacon lane layby or dockenfield lane entirely at owners’ risk

​

·Membership stickers must be on show in your car when parked at either site.

​

·No litter to be left and every angler is encouraged to pick up litter you come across even if it is not yours.

​

·Respect for users of footpaths and bridleways

​

·No over night fishing

​

·No fires or tents or bivvies

​

·Fishing from dawn to dusk only

​

·Report any usual behaviour or poachers to James the estate manager

​

·All fishermen are guests of James and it is his discretion if you are allowed to continue to fish or not.

​

·Please comment in the WhatsApp group when starting to fish and leaving the Moores Pond Beat as signal is not the best on the beat so James and team know who is there.
